Mortgage Loan Closer

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is seeking to fill a new position for an Experienced Mortgage Loan Closer. The candidate will be responsible for closing all loans according to the proper product type, investor, agency and internal guidelines, processes and procedures in an accurate manner providing the highest level of customer service to every party involved in the transaction, both internally and externally. Must have experience with creating closing disclosures and knowing what to look for, experience with preparing closing documents, uploading documents to Investors and working with follow-up conditions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of closing experience. The location will be the Tallahassee or Marianna office. Proficient in English and bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Experienced Loan Officer

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is seeking to fill a new position for an Experienced Loan Officer in the Tallahassee office. Responsibilities include developing new business, maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Agriculture and 5 years of commercial or agricultural lending experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Proficient in English and Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Human Resource Intern

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is seeking an intern who will work closely with the Manager of Human Capital on various projects; including working with affirmative action, developing training curriculum, the employee handbook, human capital plan, recruiting/hiring process, etc. The candidate will also assist the lending department with certain projects; including working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Days are flexible, with a minimum of 10 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a focus in business and/or human resources, be proficient in the use of technology with an ability to learn new software programs, willing and have the ability to learn and retain information regarding employment laws and compliance, effective written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and ability to interact well in a team environment. Proficient in English and bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

AgVocator Scholarship Program

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is proud to announce the continuation of its scholarship program for college-bound high school seniors. For the second year in a row, this rural lender is offering six $1,500 AgVocator Scholarships that will be awarded to seniors within its chartered territory, which includes 18 counties in the Florida Panhandle. 

The AgVocator Scholarship was created to motivate exceptional young people to harness their skill sets and build stronger rural communities for the areas in which they live. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a career in agriculture, forestry, horticulture or a similar field.
