Rayleigh Carter Named 2025 AgVocator Scholarship Recipient

MARIANNA, FL. – Farm Credit of Northwest Florida (FCNWFL) is proud to announce Rayleigh Carter as the recipient of the 2025 AgVocator Scholarship, an educational award recognizing exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and a commitment to advancing agriculture and rural communities. The scholarship provides up to $20,000 in support of her academic journey.
A native of Jackson County, FL, Rayleigh is pursuing a degree in Agribusiness at Oklahoma State University and has already built an impressive resume through internships at national livestock shows, leadership roles in 4-H and FFA, and advocacy for mental health in rural areas.
“Rayleigh is a true go-getter,” said Cottondale FFA Advisor Stan Scurlock. “I admire her drive and determination.”
In addition to the top scholarship, $2,000 scholarships were awarded to Peyton Gay of Vernon, Florida, and Makenleigh Bledsoe of Jay, Florida, for their outstanding applications and commitment to agricultural excellence.
“We were truly impressed by the remarkable accomplishments of all the scholarship applicants,” said FCNWFL President & CEO Stacy Sikes. “We’re thrilled to support Rayleigh as she takes the next step in her academic journey and look forward to seeing all she will achieve.”
