
Purpose
The Rooted in Giving SEED Initiative supports local organizations that strengthen agriculture, empower youth and education, and enhance the overall well-being of rural communities throughout Northwest Florida. Through this joint initiative of the Association and its employees, we sow seeds of growth and opportunity across the communities we serve. This initiative reflects Farm Credit of Northwest Florida’s deep commitment to giving back and partnering with others to make our rural communities stronger, better places to live and work.
Eligible projects may receive up to $1,000 in funding, depending on the scope and impact.
Eligibility
Eligible projects may fall under a wide range of community-focused areas, including but not limited to:
- Community Development: Local Community Organizations that support rural vitality
- Public Services: Fire & Rescue, Rural Infrastructure, Natural Resources
- Youth & Education: K–12 Education, and other Youth Programs
- Food & Agriculture: Farmers Markets, Food Pantries, Community Gardens
- Other: Projects that align with the mission of the Rooted in Giving Initiative
Applicants must be one of the following:
- 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit
- Unit of Government
- Public Agency
- Community Organization
Eligibility Considerations
Support will be considered for organizations in the 18 counties where Farm Credit of Northwest Florida conducts business.
